Michigan’s spring state testing is coming up and will take place throughout April this year.
- Spring testing is REQUIRED for all 9th-11th grade students.
- Spring testing is also REQUIRED for 12th grade students that did not test in 11th grade.
- Each day of testing will begin at 7:30am.
- Our 9th grade students will take the PSAT 9 and our 10th grade students will take the PSAT 10 and 11th grade students will take the Michigan Merit Exam (MME), which consists of ACT WorkKeys, Digital SAT w/Essay, and the Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress (M-STEP).
Here are the dates of testing broken down by grade-level:
*Students with extended time accommodations may have a slightly different schedule. Families with students that have a different testing schedule will be contacted individually.
This testing also requires being in school in person one day during the following weeks to complete required Pre-Administration activities. These activities will primarily take place during advisory time. Students who miss Pre-Administration activities during the week, or who are participating in our distance learning option this spring will have opportunities to complete Pre-administration activities on Friday, April 5th.
Pre-Administration Week: Monday, April 1 - Friday, April 5, 2024
These tests do require that students attend school in-person on these dates (testing and pre-administration). Please contact Mr. Chris Quiambao with testing questions or concerns at [email protected] or at (810) 844-3366.
As a reminder, participation in Spring Testing is REQUIRED for all 9-11th grade students. If you foresee a conflict that may prevent your student from participating on the indicated dates, please let me know ASAP.
Thank you,
