An Early Middle College (EMC) is a Michigan Department of Education (MDE) approved five-year program of study. The EMC is designed to allow a student to earn a high school diploma and one or more of the
following:
following:
- 60 transferable college credits
- An associate degree
- A professional certification
- The Michigan Early Middle College Association (MEMCA) technical
certificate - Participation in a registered apprenticeship
FlexTech will concentrate on a program where students may earn up to 60 transferrable credits and an associate degree. The tuition for these credits will be paid by FlexTech. Current FlexTech ninth grade students and incoming ninth grade students will be eligible for this program. More to come on this great new opportunity!
