On Thursday, April 6th, from 12:45-1:45pm, Ms. Lyman's English class will be showcasing their speaking and listening skills by hosting a project pitch event. They have each created a project that answers the question: How can we amplify our voices to create a more just community? Students will focus specifically on what they can bring to the table, what they've learned through research and interviews, and how they can create a lasting impact on communities they care about to create a more just world. We can’t solve everything in a day, but if we focus on our strengths, we can create ripples of positivity and justice. At the end of the Changemaker Project, students will have created a product for their chosen passion which will create a positive change. Your feedback will be invaluable to them in this experience.
Attendees will provide feedback to students on their speaking and listening skills, as well as on their project ideas. Students will be showcasing pre-recorded pitches as well as in person pitches. Please RSVP here.
