On October 11th, NASA Ambassador Tim Campbell helped to bring learning to life for FlexTech students. He gave students an opportunity to learn about the life cycle of stars and nuclear fusion through a presentation. He also brought equipment with him for students to learn about and use. Students were able to use a high-tech telescope and more! This was such an exciting opportunity, and helped students see the FlexTech Portrait of a Graduate skills in action. Mr. Campbell is not an astronomer or scientist by trade, but is very passionate about the topic, and so he became a NASA Ambassador to enjoy and spread that passion outside of his professional role.
