Hispanic Heritage Month is from September 15th-October 1sts 5th each year. In Spanish class, students explored Hispanic Heritage Month by researching and presenting Latino and Latin American artists, athletes, scientists, musicians writers and activists. They learned so much, and made their learning visible through use of digital presentations and artwork.

Celia Cruz- The queen of salsa music
Judy Reyes- an actress, model and producer.
Lin-Manuel Miranda- a composer, writer and actor. Composed the music for Encanto and is composing the music for the new Little Mermaid
Diego Rivera- Mexican artist, painted the mural at the DIA
Frida Khalo- Mexican artist known for her self-portraits
Roberto Clemente: the first Latino MLB player
