FlexTech Advisory Reps Share Their Voice

Advisory reps took time to look at data and provide their insights on their interpretations of data.  The students reflected on student survey responses about their sense of belonging, friendliness, collaboration, and bullying.

On Friday, our staff reflected on the student responses as we created action plans to address student concerns.

Thanks to student insights on survey results, we will:
- Continue to provide and advertise opportunities to join student groups and clubs like our student-run Equality Club Starting this week.
- Launch a "Be True to You" campaign promoting environments that will help students be comfortable with being themselves.
- Purposefully shout out and affirm students at least once a week through announcements and an affirmation wall.
- Foster more collaboration in class with set roles for students to carry out when working in groups.
- Launch a campaign for recognizing bullying and a clear process for reporting it.

We're excited and hopeful that these steps will help make FlexTech an even more welcoming school for all students.
