hello welcome to FlexTech.  I'm Mr. Wasmer. I'm going to take you on a tour of our building right now. As I walked in, I'm masking up. As students enter the building they know to scan the QR Code for the daily health screening form. There's also a form for guests and visitors to scan as well. Once you fill out that form you can check in at the front desk. Ms. Travis is our office administrator smiling and waving hello underneath that mask. We also have Mrs. Combs down here in the main office. Although her office is located upstairs you might find her down here as well. This is our Union space and this is the space where students can get snacks out of the vending machines and we also have drink machines available. The union is where students check in at the beginning of the day as well as wait for rides at the end of the day. Hey guys, what's going on? We are 3D printing for our YE class.  Which is Youth Entrepreneurship?  Yes.  Awesome!  This space is our colab or collaborative space. Furniture gets rearranged depending on what event or activity is taking place. Students might come here to work independently or on small group projects. Over here we have our robotics lab. 2 years ago we launched our robotics team, they were very successful in their rookie season winning rookie of the year, that was the year that covid shut down the season early so we're looking forward to getting back to building robots soon.  Our team name is the Techno Falcons their team number is 8299. Over here is our computer lab and in the Makerspace space you'll find various equipment used to build projects such as our wood cutting and laser engraving machines as well as poster printers and t-shirt press. Heading back out of the colap we'll stop by the Glass Room classroom and Mrs. Halling is in their teaching culinary arts virtually right now. That's her classroom space where she teaches students what's going to happen in the kitchen. Walking through here is the kitchen space. This is where it culinary arts class is taught. This is a commercial kitchen that's used to teach students on what it's like to cook in a inside a commercial kitchen. We teach baking and culinary arts skills and through that students can even earn math and science credit. Off of the union we have our unisex bathrooms. Right now those bathrooms are unisex meaning that anybody could anytime can use them but only one at a time you can check out a key from the main office there with Miss travel this is Miss alsher school counselor in her office as we continue down the hall this is Miss McKinney's Spanish classroom here's Miss hammers math classroom I should know that these classrooms are set up for testing so normally we don't have our chairs and desk set up in rows but we are preparing for the SAT test so that's why we have the space and we have in these classrooms that's mr. Jones there and the humanities class he teaches social studies Civics economics and media arts this is our student Support Services room and this is where a social worker as well as support teachers are located in a serving as our social worker and toast and mrs. Smith AR Spencerport teachers this is mrs. Class she's teaching Ela virtually there I'm sure we have the gym again normally we don't have chairs and desk setup in I'm going to send message to rock gym class I normally you'll see this equipment spread out kickboxing material or kickboxing equipment yoga mat all of that there is designed to student size more Personal Fitness and here is mrs. Schrock classroom so mrs. rock or personal fitness teacher and fitness instructor she is teaching out of the gym and also out of that classroom as who teaches Health yoga and Link crew and down here we have our art studio this is Miss merwin's Art Studio it's a beautiful space that Amazon is lucky to teach out of plenty of light plenty of student work visible and shown she teaches photography as well as drawing all different forms of media and different are for I'm putting digital graphic design as well this is mrs. Morris math class and computer science class and next door is Miss fins math classroom across the hall from this phone and this is more we have Mr lieberman's Humanities classroom silly woman teaches creative writing part of our first-year Academy teaching English Terrace here's mr. Campbell's stem lab we teach Integrated Science at our school stem 1 2 and 3 mr. Campbell also teaches psychology I'm next door to mr. Kiana or mr. Q is NASA's Austad's stem lab I'm so she also teacher some of our stem classes are she's also taught in the anatomy and genetics this is Miss lyman's room he is another one of our humanities teachers teaching a u.s. manatees as well as a political class called MythBusters over here we have two more bathrooms on the second floor they are also unisex you can borrow a key or request the key from one of your teachers to use those bathrooms and this is Miss This is called official office upstairs and from there we had downstairs and that is just about all there is to the school we have two floors or three floors including the basement studio and that brings us back out to Union there's Miss Travis again and as you can see from the front door here students are checking out of the building by using our a barcode scanner and they're going home for the day and that concludes our tour this is once again the Union's face if you would like more information about flextech please check out our website at Brighton. text schools.
