Thanksgiving is Around the Corner!
After the longest continuous stretch of the school year, we are looking forward to a well-deserved next week. This week (November 14-18) is the last week of Marking Period 2. Students will be off for the entire week of November 21-25 while our staff attends a professional development conference on November 21st and 22nd. Now is a great time to put forth your best effort, submit project revisions, and turn in missing assignments or projects before this Friday at noon.
Thank you to our Veterans!
We know we have FlexTech alumni and parents of FlexTech students and staff who have served our country with the armed forces. We admire the sacrifice you have given to ensure the United States and our allies maintain the liberties we value. Thank you for your service!
COVID-19 and Other Illnesses Still Exist!
We all felt the direct or indirect impact of COVID, the flu, and other illnesses last week. Many staff and students were out last week due to COVID and we needed to shift to virtual learning as a result. While we did not identify many close contacts in school, the virus is definitely present in our community. Please continue to wash your hands regularly and exercise caution. If you develop symptoms, please get tested. We still have plenty of "at home" test kits available at the main office. Please pick up a couple of boxes for your student or your family. If you test positive for COVID-19, the current guidelines call for 5 days of isolation and mask-wearing for days 6-10. If you have any questions, please call our office or the Livingston County Health Department.
Interested in Substitute Teaching?
Whether you would like to volunteer your time or make up to $155 per school day, please consider applying to sub at FlexTech or other schools. The link to apply is below.

Subs Wanted!
Like many schools, our staff and students have been impacted by illness such as COVID-19, the flu, and others. As a result, we have needed to hold virtual classes a few times already this year. While we are lucky to have the capacity to do that easily, we would always prefer to have our students in the building. As such, we are looking for parents or other individuals in the community to join our sub pool. You can apply here if you're interested in helping our FlexTech
