We hope that all of the mothers and mother figures in our FlexTech community have had an enjoyable and relaxing time on this beautiful spring day. We also know that many in our community may have complicated feelings on this day, so whether you are a mother, have lost a child, lost a mother, wishing to be a mother, never had a mother, have a great mother-child bond, or have a challenging mother-child relationship, we are thinking of you. We wish you a beautiful day and week ahead.
It's Been Quite a Month (already)!
It’s been a busy launch into May this past week with Teacher Appreciation week, Field Day, Spanish and Latinx food trucks, and the @k9konnectionsfths pet social! It’s already been such a great month of celebration and community building. Students raised over $200 at field day for future events and activities (and got to ice bucket Mr. Wasmer to celebrate!) and students in Mr. Jones’ Media Arts class raised over $5000 for the humane society. Incredible! Next up we have spirit week, Project Showcase, and Prom 💃🕺 so much to look forward to!
