We recognize that the Governor and MDHHS announced today that masks are no longer required indoors for residents who are fully vaccinated. They also stated that residents who are not fully vaccinated must continue to wear face coverings while indoors.
However, we follow recommendations and requirements from the Michigan Department of Education. Until those recommendations or requirements are updated, we will maintain our current policy of requiring masks for all who enter the building at FlexTech High School.
If the policy changes, we will enact protocols to verify vaccination status. When a student or staff member is no longer required to wear a mask in the school building, that will be communicated directly to that individual and/or their family.
